A Vietnamese woman accused of killing Kim Jong Nam, the half-brother of DPRK leader Kim Jong Un, has escaped the death penalty. Malaysian prosecutors dropped the murder charge against her.
The 30-year-old defendant then pleaded guilty to a harm charge and was sentenced to more than three years in prison though she could walk free as early as next month.
