New CA HOA Law is a Direct Response to the Fires in Los Angeles (SB625)

Описание: If your home is destroyed in a declared disaster and you want to rebuild, your HOA can no longer use CC&Rs to stop you.

As of January 1st, California's SB 625 makes those provisions void and unenforceable—as long as the rebuild is in the same location, substantially similar, and meets current building codes.

And if your HOA tries to block it anyway? Attorney's fees are now recoverable under this statute.

It's a direct response to what happened after the fires—removing one more friction point from an already impossible situation.
