Victims identified in east Indianapolis double shooting and house fire

A man and woman are dead after they were found shot at the scene of a house fire on Indianapolis' east side Thanksgiving morning, police said.
Indianapolis Fire Department crews were dispatched around 10:30 a.m. Nov. 27 to a home in the 3700 block of Audubon Road, near 38th Street and North Arlington Avenue.
Firefighters found and put out a small fire inside the home before locating a man and woman who had been shot.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was taken in critical condition to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, IMPD Officer Tommy Thompson told 13News.
On Nov. 28, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the woman as 36-year-old Meghan Wiekerson. 13News has confirmed with two independent sources that the man killed was 36-year-old Corkney "CJ" Morgan Jr.
