Hello everyone, I’m Mun! Welcome to my channel. Today, we’re walking around Prague in the Czech Republic today.

Prague in the Czech Republic stands along the Vltava River and has shaped Central Europe for centuries. Founded around 880 with the first castle settlement it became a royal city in 1230 and later capital in 1348, gaining early prestige.

In 1918 Prague became capital of Czechoslovakia after the empire collapsed. In 1939 it fell under occupation and in 1948 a communist regime began. The peaceful Velvet Revolution of 1989 changed its political course and direction.

In 1993 the Czech Republic was formed and Prague remained its capital guiding a new democratic era. Since joining the European Union in 2004 the city has strengthened trade education and regional influence across Europe.

Prague developed as a crossroads between German and Slavic cultures. Universities founded in 1348 supported science and philosophy while writers musicians and architects shaped a distinct Central European identity over time.

During the twentieth century industry expanded then shifted after 1990 toward services finance and tourism. Modern infrastructure projects since 2000 improved transport links and connected Prague globally with neighbors.

Today Prague balances preservation and innovation. Its population of about 1.3 million reflects growth since 2000 while maintaining historic character. The city continues evolving as a cultural and economic center in Europe.
