Characters/People

Isabel 'Belly' Conklin: The main character of the book. She is little sister to Steven, daughter of Laurel, and friend to Susannah, Jeremiah, and Conrad.

Laurel Conklin: Belly's mother, and best friend to Susannah Fisher.

Susannah 'Beck' Fisher: Laurel's best friend who owns the beach house, and is mother to Conrad and Jeremiah.

Cam Cameron: A boy that Belly met at a bonfire in Cousins.

Conrad Fisher: 3 years older than Belly and has been Belly's secret crush her whole life. He is very serious guy and doesn't goof around like his younger brother Jeremiah, and friend Steven.

Jeremiah Fisher: Best friend of Belly and is Conrad's younger brother. He loves to joke around and is the only one of the three boys that would spend time with Belly when they were little.

Steven Coklin: Belly's older brother who is best friends with Conrad and Jeremiah. He is going off to college next year, so everyone is sad.

Taylor: Belly's best friend from her home town where she lives when she is not at the beach home.
