Описание: Welcome to Episode 11 of a complete series covering the restoration of my E39 530i BMW Touring suspension and driveline. This week, we prepare to install the rear subframe back into the 530 and the driveshaft (including a step by step guide on preloading the centre support bearing).

This series covers a complete front and rear axle restoration and rebushing of the entire driveline, which are just some of the main items covered in this series.

But with an attitude of "while you're in there", I replaced almost every item connected to the chassis! Stay tuned for all of the upcoming detailed episodes, which show all the successes, pitfalls and problem solving to finish and get the 5 Series road worthy once again (and as close to factory spec as possible!).
