Winston. Awkward. Bitcoin. Three unique reasons this Panther is ready to roar

Описание: When Panther Metals (LON:PALM) told the market it had adopted Bitcoin treasury as part of its financial modelling, the main-board listed explorer was breaking away from a traditional mining sector funding strategy defined  by equity, capital raises and warrants exercises.

From inception the board at Panther had intended to become cash generating as soon as possible without tapping shareholders for support while the holy grail of a major discovery was doggedly pursued.

The Canada-focused company has assets, has the datasets that have peers drooling and has the business plan. This now includes Bitcoin treasury as part of the funding strategy essential to progressing exploration as chief executive Darren Hazelwood explains.

"It takes us out of the fiat world in terms of currency debasement. But it also has a uniqueness that the assets don't, in that we can leverage Bitcoin and we can leverage Bitcoin on terms that are far more agreeable to the business than you can get in the traditional forms of going through the market."

Panther also has the Winston Lake Mine tailings storage facility in Ontario with recent assay results exceeding Panther's expectations returning high grade gold, gallium,  silver, zinc, copper and cobalt.  Tailings is the discarded from previous mine workings and Hazelwood is hopeful that the gold that can be recovered from the tailings will run "into the hundreds of millions of dollars," and Winston now represents " the keys to the development the growth of this business."

The adoption of Bitcoin and the investigation of crypto-friendly Dubai as an operational base are relatively new initiatives for Panther.  The Awkward asset however is not and Winston giddiness aside, it is Awkward that Hazelwood believes is core and "the conduit system will carry substantial commodity."
