Uttar Pradesh has created a big record under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
So far, more than 62 lakh families have got their own pucca house. This is being considered a big success of the PM Awas Yojana.
CM Yogi Adityanath recently transferred the first installment through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) to the bank accounts of more than 2 lakh eligible families. During this, an amount of more than ₹2,094 crore was given to the beneficiaries, due to which the work of building houses has become faster.
