In this episode of Learn@Work Live ACJI’s Dr. Alexandra Walker and several leaders from Minnesota’s correctional landscape to include Rachel L. Miller (MN DOC), Stephanie Buelow (Scott County Community Corrections), Shawn Trusten (Ramsey County Community Corrections), and Carter Diers (MN DOC).
Together, we will talk about how most change efforts fizzle, fade, and are placed on the shelf only to be dusted off and tried again a few years later EXCEPT when Implementation Science is infused into every step of the process. In these cases, change can be manageable and sustainable.
That’s what these change leaders in Minnesota learned firsthand. Plus, after creating a multi-agency implementation-focused community of practice, these innovators introduced Implementation Science to 70 other staff members across six different agencies furthering their impact even more.
