This video is going over the Lions of the Emperor 2000 point RTT list that I have been thinking about bring to an RTT that our crew is going to on April 19th 2025 Sackville Slugfest 8.

I think we are going to look for some more semi-local tournaments after this one though. It is about a 1.5 to 2 hour drive to the Sackville RTT.
I really like this detachment I have been experimenting with different lists over the last 2 weeks. I even have a list at the end of the video that has no Wardens at all.

This list is an all Infantry List leaning into the Shooting potential of the Detachment while still having some extreme Melee threat. I have played with multiple units of Wardens but it starts to feel like Shield Host might be better
once we add 2 or 3 Bladechampion/Warden units.
I could be proven wrong, I still wanted to try an All Infantry list that was not full of Custodian Wardens.

We will take a look at the list, the Lions of the Emperor Rules and how they benefit the units on the list. I also have a rough gameplan for this list. Working out a game plan to take advantage of the +1 to Hit and Wound will make or break this list.

Part 2 will be out in a week or so after more testing. I will go in more detail of why I selected the units in my final list.
