🚗 Replacing My Kia Picanto’s Exhaust Back Box – DIY Fix! 🔧
After years of use, my Kia Picanto 2009’s back box got rusty and started making some sporty noises (aka, a burnt hole in the exhaust!). While I loved the sound, it was too loud for everyone else—so it was time for a replacement!
💰 Cost of New Back Box: £62
⏳ Time Taken: 1.5 hours
🔧 DIY Struggles:
Took 5 attempts just to get on the ramp!
Removing the old back box was tricky.
Installing new rubber mounts was a challenge.
For fun, I even started my car without an exhaust—it was ridiculously loud! 😂
With a little help from my wife, I finally got it installed. The car sounds much quieter now, and the whole job was pretty easy overall!
