Elohim
It is always plural – signifying the unfolding mystery of the Trinity right from the first verse of the Bible.
El is singular / Elah is also plural – used in Jeremiah 10
Elohim – the name we’re looking at here is also plural but it implies 3 or more.
Elohim was also used of pagan gods in the ancient cultures – making it like the word God which can be used to describe the God of the Bible as well as other gods.
Elohim is used 32 times in Genesis 1 and 2,500 times in the Old Testament – it’s the original name for God in the Bible.

If we learn a bunch of facts about God and are smarter and move on - fail. But what if we learned facts about God and then sought him and found them to be true? And believed. And knew Him face to face, on His own terms.

Be with us this year as you were with them in Christ
Be with us this year in our bodies through your Spirit

Elohim, our hearts desire is to know you

Not just know about you

But to know you.

To see you clearly
To know you intimately
To live with you daily

To know the divine, in my car, in my chair, in my house.
