The beautiful Piaggio P-180 Avanti EVO T7-BBB is seen landing and taking-off at Engadin Airport in Samedan. Flying to and from this airport nested within the Swiss Alps is a great challenge for pilots and plane. Flight procedures and aircraft performances are very strongly affected by those high mountains. Flying through the Engadin Valley takes extreme concentration, skill and teamwork even for experienced pilots especially in crosswind conditions. The Engadin Airport is even the highest in Europe at 5'500 feet and also provides a most beautiful backdrop with lush green meadows, dark forest and crystal blue rivers and lakes.
