Ava's group proceeds, but both Yasmine and Beatrice are confused when they get to where the Arc is supposed to be, only to find the area empty. Yasmine suggests that maybe they moved it, but Beatrice says that Jillian lied. "Why?" wonders Yasmine and Ava says she told her to. She says it's because things change when you realize everything's not about you. She apologizes to Beatrice, that it's the Warrior Nun's job to die so everyone can live. Beatrice tells her not to do it and she tells her it's so she can live. "I won't, I can't", Beatrice tells her. Ava tells her she can. "I can't", she insists, moving to attack, but Ava blocks and kisses her. They share an intense, passionate kiss. "In the next", Ava tells her, phasing through the floor. Below, she meets Michael, who tells her he found the elevator but it's guarded. He tells her they'll find another way down.
