When I heard that Cereal Magazine had designed a penthouse in Greenwich Peninsula, I just knew it would be stunning and effortless cool... and it did not disappoint! Melissa Hemsley hosted a gorgeous brunch on the Abode's rooftop terrace. With a stunning view across the Thames, we dined with old friends and new.

OBLIX 🏙

Up on the 23rd floor of The Shard, Oblix is a real gem, perfect for a special occasion. My favourite dish was the flatbread with ricotta cream, pancetta and shaved truffle. I swear I had dreams about it afterwards!

CAFE MONICO x MASSIMO BOTTURA 🍝

You may have seen Massimo and his 3-Michelin-star restaurant Osteria Francescana on shows like Chef's Table or Master Of None. The generous man has created a recipe for Cafe Monico – fusilli with breadcrumb pesto. £4 from each dish will be donated to the Refettorio Felix – a community kitchen that uses surplus produce from local suppliers to feed the homeless and socially vulnerable in London. Such a great cause, and a wonderful meal all round.

COOK FOR SYRIA 🙏🏻

As part of London Food Month, a series of pop-ups ran to raise funds for Cook For Syria. I attended a brunch hosted by Imad's Syrian Kitchen in collaboration with Miles Kirby, the chef from Caravan, at The Store Studios in London. Every dish was sensational and profits raised were in aid of children affected by the crisis in Syria.
