🦊 In this GCSE Physics video, we explain the difference between distance and displacement. Distance is a scalar quantity that measures how far an object moves without considering direction, while displacement is a vector that includes both the length and direction of the straight line from the starting point to the endpoint. Displacement can be shorter than the total distance traveled, as it only accounts for the straight path, not the entire journey.
