This little adventure made me appreciate the convenience of the Brompton even more: It can be combined with the local train to get to remote places around a big city while avoiding to pay the bicycle fare for normal bicycles.
I used this convenience to get some new tires for one of my other bikes. Somebody put them for sale brand-new but for half of the price, because this person had bought them but ended up not needing them anymore.
Why "on fire"? Because I ended up noticing that the local train only goes every hour.. So I had to be quick and on time to avoid waiting a full hour in the cold.
