i heard this song, dropped everything, and knew i had to make a Legends Arceus PMV about it- it fits freakishly well

yeah i LOVED Legends Arceus. A LOT.
it is without a doubt my favorite Pokémon game as of now. i wanted to make an animation about the game since i loved it so much, so think of this video as a love letter of sorts! if you haven’t played the game i seriously recommend it. it vastly improved upon everything i already enjoyed about the series and added even more to create a truly unique experience

i found Volo’s character to be especially interesting so a lot of this focuses on him and his fall from grace. misplaced trust was my central theme, both in how Kamado incorrectly mistrusted the player and how the player was betrayed by their friend.

obviously some elements of this PMV are taken from my personal playthrough, such as Akari being the protagonist as opposed to Rei or Cyndaquill being the chosen starter

this was my first ever real attempt at a PMV! so if you’re wondering why it’s so bad just blame my lack of experience :,) i’ve watched this so many times i kind of hate it now but i hope you can get some degree of enjoyment out of it
i do plan to continue trying to improve at animation so look out for that stuff in the future

the total time taken with this was 110 hours and 37 minutes
my digital pencil decided to break in the middle of production so the majority was done with my finger and IbisPaint X

and Kinemaster, if you couldn’t tell with the big ugly logo in the corner
SORRY about that, i wanted to crop it out but it would mess with things happening on screen, so we just have to tolerate its presence. i hope it isn’t too distracting
