I am taking a few Petoskey Stones, a Yooperlite and a Puddingstone (all Michigan based stones) and comparing how they react from a distilled white vinegar soak (for one day). If you are familiar with petoskey stones (hexagonara), this ancient fossil can look a lot different after a vinegar soak as it gets it and dissolves limestone build up on the fossil surface. Just for fun I thought I would throw in a Yooperlite (syenite with fluorescent sodalite) and a Puddingstone also.
