One day, his doctor tells him he only has one year left to live.
What does Kaito do? Does he go to a hospital? No. He packs one small bag and leaves his old life behind. He decides to travel all around Japan to finally see the world. He wants to see the colorful flowers his wife always dreamed of. 🌸
This story follows Kaito through the four seasons of his final year. He sees the purple fields of summer, the red leaves of autumn, and the cold grey sea of winter. He doesn't talk much. He just watches, and he feels. It's a very quiet, slow, and meaningful story about finding peace at the end of life. I think you will find it very beautiful. 😌
