At 14:00 on 14 July 2022 Asahi Beer, Nikka’s Whisky parent company, announced the return of an age statement single malt, the Yoichi 10, to Nikka’s lineup. The return? That’s right - Japan’s second largest whisky maker, founded in 1934, has not had a single single malt with an age statement on the shelves for 7 years!
