On May 22, we celebrated the NYU Abu Dhabi's Class of 2021.
More than 300 students from over 75 countries graduated at the virtual Commencement ceremony
where President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Africa’s first elected female president and winner of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize, and Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, UAE Minister of State for Advanced Technology, offered remarks to the graduating class.

The production process for this virtual Commencement ceremony adhered to all necessary health and safety protocols including physical distancing requirements, and photos were taken individually, respecting the same requirements. For the purposes of these photos only, graduates appear without face masks.
