I have created this tribute video with alot of help from my very talented friend maej (   / xxmaej26xx‬‎  ) in honor of the 1 year anniversary of Patrick Swayze's passing. He will never be forgotten by family, friends, and his many fans who loved him.

The clips used are from a variety of Patrick Swayze's movies such as Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Fatherhood, One Last Dance and there is also some scenes from his last interview with Barbara Walters and clips from the dance performance he did with his wife, Lisa in 1994 @ the World Music Awards and also from his TV show The Beast. One year ago, to this exact day

I still sit and wonder "Why God Took My Hero Away"

Quietly one day, I asked God, How could this be?

I will always remember his soft warm response, as he gently said to me...

"My Dear Child, I will try to help you understand

Why I chose Patrick, and took your hero by the hand

I never meant to cause you sorrow or to see you cry

The hardest part of dying, is seeing these loved ones trying to say goodbye

You must understand that everyone has a purpose in this life

Whether you are a brother or a sister, a husband or wife

Some I chose are young, and some I chose are old

And when your special time arrives, that is something I will leave untold

As I looked down towards the earth on that painful sad day

I knew I needed someone very talented, do you see what I am trying to say?

Patrick is so charming, and my oh my can he dance

I am so sorry my child, but I couldn't miss the chance

Heaven is a place that is perfect, and everyone will have a place

If you ever have a doubt, just close your eyes and whisper Amazing Grace

Or when you feel sad and your eyes begin to cry

Just look up towards the Heavens and you will see Patrick dance across the sky

I know it hurt you and I am trying to explain the best that I can

When I gazed down from the Heavens on that September day

God needed a perfect gentleman....And that is why "I Took Your Hero Away"

Thank you God for explaining, even though it's hard to understand to this day

Please take care of my hero that I love so much...

Till we can be introduced inside the Pearly Gates of Heaven, one day.
