On Sunday, February 7, 2016, we found Union Pacific’s Potash Local running between Brendel and Moab, Utah. This 36-mile-long branch line railroad is known as the “Cane Creek Subdivision.” The line was built in 1963 by the Denver & Rio Grande Western to serve a large Potash plant southwest of Moab.
