TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
Review the relationship between the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act and the National Priorities List
Review the 4 categories in the classification of metals
Review common sources of heavy metal exposures
Review basic demographics related to heavy metal toxicity
Review arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, and nickel that are listed on the major toxic metals with multiple effects list
Review copper, zinc and iron from the list of essential metals that have potential for toxicity
Review aluminum from the list of metals used in medical therapy.
