In this clip, I’m talking about something I see every single day - women in their 40s walking away from their jobs.

Here’s the context most people miss.

Women-led startups generate around 78 cents in revenue for every dollar of funding, while male-founded startups generate closer to 31 cents per dollar (MassChallenge, BCG).

At the same time, companies that take gender equity seriously report lower turnover and higher engagement (McKinsey).

So this isn’t about women “lacking ambition” or “burning out for personal reasons.”

It’s about systems that were never designed for women’s careers, bodies, or life stages. So women are reaching a point where they decide they’re no longer willing to contort themselves to fit.

For many women in midlife, this becomes a reckoning:
• Stay and shrink
• Or leave and rebuild
• Or finally go after what you actually want

If you’re in your 40s and feeling restless, underused and done with settling, there’s nothing wrong with you.

You have got to start reclaiming your career on your own terms. Don't play small just to survive a system that benefits from your silence.
