Welcome everyone! In today's video I'm showing my massive 3.85 troy ounce (each) 20 Balboas coins. These were once the largest coins in the world!
The current largest silver coin is the 2016 Ivory Coast Silver Elephant coin, minted by Geiger Edelmetalle in Germany, contains 1,750 oz of . 999 fine Silver and measures 650 mm (25.59 inches) in diameter. This 120-pound coin comes with a mounted display stand, specially crafted to hold the weight of this impressive coin.
1971 and 1977 20 Balboas Silver Coin:
These large 20 Balboas from Panama are over 60 millimeters in diameter and contain 3.8544 oz of pure Silver.
Coin Highlights:
• Contains 3.8544 oz sterling Silver.
• Obverse: Bust of Simon Bolivar and the date.
• Reverse: National arms with legend and the
value.
• Sovereign coin backed by the Panamanian government.
