No Filipino has been injured or killed by ongoing Israeli air strikes in Lebanon, Vice Consul Mark Joshua Ponce said Wednesday.
There are currently 14,131 Filipinos in different parts of Lebanon, with a huge percentage serving as household workers. Repatriation efforts have been ongoing for the past 3 years, with the government shouldering the airfare, Ponce said.
Filipinos who decide to repatriate cannot return to Lebanon, he said.
