Shelf Activities for 12 to 18 months | Montessori Inspired Shelf Work

Описание: This is the current shelf work I have available for Luna at 14 months old. At nine months old we started with a 2 cube shelf with 4-5 activities. We have expanded to (2) cubes with a total of 8 activities. Her shelf work is set up in the two most common rooms in our home. We spend most of our day in our homeschool room or the living room area.

The idea behind the shelf work is that all of the activities or “work” have a precise location where she can access them at any time and can be easily put back to their location by her independently.

The current activities/ activity trays for Luna are made up of practice for fine motor, counting, colors, shapes and practical life skills. We are also currently covering a theme unit of Jungle Safari Animals.
