Walking Way Retro Soft Filter - Coastal Photography

Описание: In this video I test the WalkingWay Retro Soft Filter in real-world conditions, shooting coastal photography in Scarborough. The filter is designed to take the edge off modern digital images by subtly softening sharpness, blooming highlights, and adding a gentle warm, vintage-style glow — not to make images look cleaner, but more atmospheric and less clinical.

The shoot focuses mainly on coastal scenes, including surfers, fishermen, and with a small amount of street photography to show where this type of diffusion filter works — and where it doesn’t. This is not a studio test or spec breakdown, but a practical look at how the filter behaves when used deliberately in natural light.

All filter testing was shot on the Sony A7 III paired with the Tamron 28–75mm f/2.8.
The video also features images from Nick Roberts and Gian Luca, shot during the same day, to give context to the overall photography experience, even though they were not using the filter themselves.

This video is part review, part usage, and part photography vlog — focused on intent, conditions, and real results rather than hype.
