We commence with one of his rare losses to Artur Yusupov in Candidates Match 1989 in London whom he played 25 times 1983-1997 winning 12-1 with 15 draws. Russian born German Grandmaster Yusupov deserves the hard fought limelight!
Game 2 is Karpovs' win over GM Bent Larsen in Linares Spain in 1983 one of the most powerful fields ever gathered.
One can never put into words to describe the brilliant body of workmanship crafted by this magnificent World Chess Champion.
