In this video, I cover the importance of testing and knowing what your range of motion for your body is. If you are going to put together a weight resistance training program, you need to know if you have any limitations in movement, and if you can work around it. I have a slight limitation, and there is an exercise I can do to work around that which helps to keep me lifting.
If you decide you are going to lift heavy, test your range of motion so you discover if you can accomplish the lift before putting a load on yourself. You don't want to end up with an injury. Please check yourself before you get under something heavy. You'll be glad you took the time to do so.
