Additional Information:
Special permits are needed for the Changu Lake, Nathula Pass & Baba Mandir Tour and permits for Nathula are only available for Indian tourists. We had booked it from a tourist agency outside NJP station since we wanted to visit Nathula the following day and go for North Sikkim the day after and forms along with passport size photos for the permits are to be submitted by 12 p.m the day prior to your plan. Since we wouldn't reach Gangtok by 12, we decided to get it done from NJP itself. You can get it done either in NJP or Gangtok. It is best to get the permits and the car from the same agent.
