David 'DJ' Johnson - All right I'm here today to give you a bit of an experience using a wheelchair and any of you seen an Olympic medal before?

It is twenty years old.

So, that's it.

I was a Paralympian in 2000 Games for tennis, wheelchair tennis.

Hey were ready to have a crack at these wheelchairs?

Alright, now you guys are sitting in sports chairs.

These ones are made for, tennis, basketball, quad rugby, ok.

Student - Rugby Union.

David 'DJ' Johnson - Yeah, well rugby yeah, we rugby, we can play AFL in them as well.

One, two, three, go.

So far, the little kids have had a great time in the chairs.

They started really slow, and then they just warmed to it.

It's just like anything I guess, they loved it, they gave it a 10 out of 10, or they might have given it a 12 out of 10.

Laughter.

Student - I like it when you turn around and try to shoot it in the hoop.

Righto. one shot, oh.

Teacher - Are you ready? Ok, shake the ball.

David 'DJ' Johnson - Getting the kids early and getting them aware and the understanding of people with disabilities just opens up a bit more of a corridor for them to realise that you know there are people with difference, lets include them in you know, what we do.
