Join Volunteer Archivist Dave Simpson and Honorary Curator Peter van Zeller as they examine the length of railway between Beckfoot Smithy and Beckfoot station.
From MT : The front of the machine appears to be decorated with American Indian-style heads? Possibly American-made?

From CG : That pic of LZ1 might actually be the Ravenglass side of 2nd Black bridge, just looking at the fell line.
From DAK : Is there a thing about 15" gauge railway managers wearing sandals as JBS used to wear them too.
From R&GN : The coaches we had at the R&GN Rly. when I started in 1962 had oil-tempered hardboard roofs. That's also what I have on my B-E 7-1/2" gauge 'Sparky'.
From R&GN : I have a colour picture of that rail roller if you need it.
From Ask Andy : Hurricane & Typhon were at Ratty for your gala 3-5 May 2008/ Marshlander No 163 (Summer 2008) has pictures including Hurricane with The Bluecoaster headboard on the front cover. No 164 features a right up by Driver Ian Hoad. Ian had |Hurricane and Mike Jacques was on Typhoon/ It took a while, buy I got there Ha ha
