Описание: In this January 21, 2026 meeting of CTeL’s Artificial Intelligence Working Group, participants discussed HHS’s recent Request for Information on accelerating the adoption of AI in clinical care. The group reviewed key federal policy updates, including the pending extension of Medicare telehealth flexibilities through 2027, and explored major barriers to AI adoption such as data privacy, infrastructure limitations, workforce readiness, and patient trust. Discussion also covered the role of agentic AI in care coordination, regulatory and liability considerations, workforce training, and emerging state-level pilots, including Utah’s AI-powered prescription refill program. The session helped inform CTeL’s forthcoming comments to HHS on responsible and effective AI use in healthcare.
