The mortal remains of former Indian cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi were brought to Lodhi crematorium. Legendary spinner Bishan Singh Bedi passed away on October 23 at the age of 77 in Delhi. Bedi died after a prolonged illness.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
