Описание: A connection between social media and dystopian society—how is our world becoming a dystopian one? Hyewon's speech is about how people are turning into one of the characters in a dystopian novel. The correlation between social media and a dystopian society is actually very significant and deep. She will present an analysis of the effects of social media in depth, utilizing the concept of dystopia. Excessive usage of social media and broken connections—is there a way to prevent this? Hyewon is currently an 8th grader at Concordia International School in Hanoi. Her favorite book is "Factfulness," also about the world and our misconceptions by instinct. Her goal for this TEDx is to inform people about reality and trigger them to reflect on their personal lives as well.
