In this video, which is actually half of a session, Coach Plez takes his athletes through Linebacker and Nickelback Cover 2 zone drops and progressions.
We also cover angle tackling drills and technique and the approach of safeties coming downhill to make tackles.
Plez uses different scenarios and releases to help his DBs and LBs understand their role in cover 2.
Most reps are not perfect but its all about the process. Many young men left this session a better, smarter football field.
