Some people can handle being 11,152 ft above sea level easily. I can't! While in Cusco with the intention of visiting nearby Machu Piccchu I felt unwell. A persistent headache was not going away with standard remedies and my only salvation was frequent doses of oxygen. This is the story of leaving Cusco on a LATAM flight to Lima to get to sea level where oxygen is abundant! This video features a fully narrated flight on an A320 with a strategic seat on the left side of the plane for the extreme mountain, airport and Cusco city views on a high altitude slow climb!
