Why is this the case? The answer is simple and it is Technology.

After the industrial revolution, industries remained the same for almost a century. With the rate at which technology is improving, it unlikely that business is going to remain the same for even a year.

Although the rapid rate of improvement in technology is a great thing, it also highlights some very serious and negative outcomes. One such outcome is the loss of jobs due to the introduction and advancement of AI and Robot technologies.

This is a genuine concern that people have and this stems from what has been witnessed and experienced throughout the years.

One such important example is in manufacturing where repetitive tasks have been all but taken over by robots. In the past, these jobs were done by people but now you hardly find humans in these jobs. The reason why the humans have been replaced is because, the robots are more efficient at doing these tasks than humans can even dream to be. If you find humans in these industries, they are the one overseeing the smooth functioning of these robots. For this type of job, you do not need to employ lots of people just a small handful of them.

Incidents like this have put most people on their toes. Most people are skeptical about the introduction of AI into their jobs. They believe that at some point in time, these AI will replace them entirely. This is probably why many people are rejecting the adoption and implementation of AI technologies in the place of work.
