The Harsh Truth About "Monopolies" in Victoria 3's Patch 1.10.6/1.11.0

Описание: Please note that for all intents and purposes 1.10.6 and 1.11.0 are the same patch, referring to this little tidbit located at the bottom of the 1.11.0 patch release. It's used to activate the Songs of the Homeland DLC, and that is all. It's not an 'actual' patch.

Please note this release is Update 1.11, named “Chamomile’, with the music pack being the only additions in this update.

Use 1.10.6 and 1.11.0 interchangeably to avoid confusion. If you have a version of 1.11 that actually changes how the game plays, chances are you're on a Beta. The whole reason I still refer to everything as 1.10.6 - is because people WILL confuse the 1.11 Beta with the Live patch, as evidenced in the comments on this video.

To reiterate. The LIVE patch is effectively 1.10.6 - calling it 1.11.0 WILL cause confusion.

I'm certain that they will release the next hotfix as 1.11.1 - and when they do, I can almost guarantee that myself, and every other Youtuber will follow suit.

Until then, to try and mitigate the confusion. I will refer to every patch until the hotfix as 1.10.6/1.11.0 when written, and 1.11.0 when spoken. Again, the 1.11 I speak of is NOT the beta which apparently breaks monopolies even worse. (Hopefully they fix that before the hotfix comes out.)
