In this tutorial I show how easy it is to create beautiful motion blur images, full of color and vibrancy from otherwise dull, forgettable seascape images. I show how I select the subject, how I create the background blur and how I used advanced colour tools to bring life back into the picture.
The technique is similar to the ICM (intentional camera movement) technique but blends in static subjects to create a dreamlike coastal seascape scene. It's quite different from my usual work, but it's a fun and straight-forward way to create a totally different look from an otherwise disappointing image.
