The Fleur de lis has been associated with the Madison Scouts even before DCI was founded in 1972. The Corps' logo, a Fleur de lis, is representative of the Madison Scouts origins as a Boy Scout troop.
The drill move is seen consistently throughout the past 30 years and is becoming a staple in the more recent Madison Scouts shows!
