Peace y’all! I’m Jessica Raquel / Jess Quel and this is my first loc video!
Disclaimer: the intro music may be louder than the rest of the video. I’ve used a different mic, so I may sound a bit softer.

Locs began 5/10/2025 and I’m celebrating 9 months!
I started my journey mainly with two strand twists and some interlocking.
I’ve bleached/ lifted my locs and have worn protective hairstyles (though I know they’re not always “protection” for my starter locs).
I do not own the copyrights to the lovely jazz you hear “Beautiful Life Sleep”.
