1meg pots vs 500k pots comparison in Gretsch Duo Jet '57 vintage select with TV Jones T-Armonds

Описание: Most of the original fifties Dearmond equiped Gretsch duo jet guitars came with 1meg pots. So I became curious and changed all the standard 500k pots in my 2017 Gretsch vintage select '57 to 1meg pots.
Played through a Vox AC15C1X (blue alnico speaker) and recorded with a Shure SM57beta.

So is it worth doing this mod? Well, in my opinion the T-Armond bridge pickup is a little muddy sounding compared to the T-Armond neck pickup so the 1meg pots definitely helped making the bridge pickup more twangy.
In real life it sounds more 'in your face' with the 1meg pots than on the recording.
