Presented by OnX: Continuing our series of Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever Habitat & Access Highlights, we recently acquired 304-acres of prime upland habitat in north-central Kansas for the purpose of expanding benefits associated with an existing Wildlife Management Area.
Located in the heart of Kansas' pheasant and bobwhite quail ranges, the property is adjacent to – and an expansion of – the Lovewell Wildlife Area, a much-loved outdoor recreation destination, making it strategic for wildlife management and public use.
The goal for this project is to restore and protect high quality upland while creating expanded public access— all of which are strategic objectives that are at the core of who Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are.
