To cover 5km off-road stretch en route Wild Planet BANA HEIGHTS Mountain Resort in Wayanad on our Mahindra Thar RWD / 4x2 Diesel Manual transmission took close to half an hour at night! This was a lonely drive all the way till the parking point at the property. And remember, you will not be allowed to enter the property without availing of a confirmed booking.
Wild Planet BANA HEIGHTS Mountain Resort is located 5500 feet above sea level at Vellamunda, Wayanad, Kerala. It is not advisable for attempting Late Night Drive at this stretch if you lack experience in such drives (just like me in here)!
Mahindra Thar RWD 1.5L Diesel LX MT HT did a decent job climbing the stretch in the first gear for a longer period of time. There was no climb wherein 4x4 was required at any point. Your Mahindra Thar RWD can do the job!
