Today we have Captain Mika and his "MegaLanDon" adventure rig. Mika is a retired Captain and adventure guru. After spending most of his life on the sea he's now ready to tackle the land.

Mika built this Ford E350 from the ground up. Believe it or not, the Megalandon started as a "Plain Jane" 2WD van. Mika converted the van himself to a 4x4 using a Ford E350 4x4 transmission saving him thousands of dollars in the process. From there Mika found our masterclass and found it incredibly helpful with the van conversion process. I actually went back and forward with Mika quite a bit during his van build to help him troubleshoot some of the process.

Welcome back to the channel ya Kookz! It’s been over two years since we’ve been in our van and we have completely remodeled the van giving it some much-needed upgrades.

The Van is a 2007 Dodge Sprinter that has been built by us, from the ground up. We bought it as a cargo van in 2017 and have been living in it full-time since we finished the van and hit the road in America in January 2018. Since then, we have learned a lot about building and Vanlife. So, we wanted to remodel our van to work better for us.
