Closing Auction Session (CAS) Day 1 | What happened in Nifty 50 at close? Live Reaction & Analysis

As SEBI came up with its new mechanism of Closing prices, through CAS, Closing Auction Session, it was interesting to see how futures and options prices might react. In my last video, you could see I was eagerly waiting, like many other market participants to observe what might happen.

So I recorded my LIVE reaction to last 30-40 min of trading.

I didn't expect what might happen at 3:29 pm eventually today, 3rd August 2026, when Nifty 50 made a weird jump of ~200 points and closed at 24774 levels while futures and options didn't show much reaction.

Then, I tried to explain why this might have happened. Some reasoning, not sure if that is the real one or not, but logical reasoning for sure.
